More Than a Partnership: How Sailun and SickKids Continue to Grow Together

Some partnerships begin with a sponsorship, others grow into something much bigger.

What started in 2023 as a shared commitment between Sailun Tire and SickKids has continued to grow into a relationship built around community, support, and making a meaningful difference for children and families across Canada.

Today, that relationship continues to move forward in new ways. Sailun is proud to be serving as the Presenting Sponsor of Nursing Week at SickKids. The work nurses provide are vital to our healthcare systems, from every recovery story to every moment of hope throughout a patient’s care, a nurse is by their side. Being able to recognize the people who dedicate their lives to caring for others is something Sailun is incredibly proud to support.

A Partnership Built Around Community

When Sailun first partnered with SickKids in 2023, our goal was never simply to put a logo beside a great organization. Our goal was becoming involved in something that genuinely impacts families and communities across North America.

Since then, we have continued working together to grow this relationship through fundraising initiatives, employee engagement and community-driven support. Over time, the partnership has become more than a collaboration, it has become a part of our culture here at Sailun.

From internal fundraising efforts to awareness campaigns and employee participation initiatives, the relationship with SickKids has continued to bring people together in support of a shared purpose: to help assist children and families when they need it most.

Recognizing the People Behind the Care

This year, Sailun is honoured to serve as the Presenting Sponsor for Nursing Week at SickKids, the world’s number one children’s health care centre.

Nursing Week is an opportunity to recognize the incredible work nurses do every single day. At SickKids and hospitals around the world, nurses are often the people families remember most. They are there during difficult moments, long nights, emotional conversations, and major milestones. They provide care, comfort, reassurance and strength not only to patients, but also to parents and loved ones navigating incredibly challenging situations.

Their impact goes far beyond medicine, and they help create moments of calm during uncertainty and moments of hope during some of life’s hardest days.

Supporting Nursing Week is a small way Sailun can help recognize the dedication, compassion, and resilience these healthcare professionals bring to the SickKids community every day.

Supporting More Than a Hospital

SickKids is more than a hospital. The work happening inside SickKids impacts children across North America and in some instances the world, through treatment, research, innovation and specialized care.

Supporting that mission means supporting the future of pediatric healthcare and for Sailun, being able to contribute to that mission is something we take tremendous pride in.

A Partnership That Continues to Move Forward

As we continues growing across North America, giving back to the communities it serves remains an important part of who the company is.

The relationship with SickKids reflects that commitment. Not just through sponsorships, but through genuine involvement, long-term support and shared values centered around people, community and care.

Serving as the Presenting Sponsor for Nursing Week is another important step in that journey. A chance to celebrate the nurses who make an incredible difference every day, while continuing to support an organization with such deep and meaningful connections with the community.

Looking Ahead

Partnerships that create real impact are built over time and since 2023, Sailun and SickKids have continued building something meaningful together.

As this partnership continues to grow, so does the impact behind it. What began in 2023 has evolved into a shared commitment to supporting children, families, healthcare workers and the communities around them.

Partnerships like this are about more than business. They’re about showing up, giving back and helping create a future where more children have access to care, support and the hope they deserve.
